Summer break finally came, the first thing we did to celebrate is to let kids go to “paint your pot” to create their own pottery pieces.
Isabella also showed me a pencil sketch that is work in progress. She is well on her way to an architect career. 😉
Also presented here is a special North Carolina map Isabella created in the style of “mandalas”.
The other day I took my daughters to Michael’s and Isabella picked out a pack of 4 blank canvases. When we got home, she immediately went into creative mode. Next day, she came up with this amazing painting of galaxy.
The other day Isabella drew this cute mermaid image, then she used water color to color the picture. At my suggestion she added the sunken ship and named the ship “Callaway”.
Last week my daughters stayed at Bright Horizon clubhouse. There they worked on some sand art. I was amazed at the details and patterns they accomplished. Particularly Isabella picked out this Yin/Yang pattern that is a traditional Chinese pattern, so I briefly talked to her about what those stand for and philosophy behind the two being in harmony and complimentary to each other.
Today I am featuring Allison’s art work in pencil sketch – a top hat person.
