Beige Leather Jacket

Fashion, Uncategorized

I wore this oatmeal baby doll sweater the other day with a chunky white beads necklace. Then I threw on a beige perforated leather jacket from Vince. The leather is so thin and supple it is like butter. I secretly wish that the spring is here soon, so that we can shed the heavy layers and put on some light and soft colors.

Mini Floral Dress

For Monday’s look, I wore a heavyweight rayon dress from Tory Burch. With the busy pattern, I kept the outfit simple by pairing with over the knee boots from Stuart Weitzman and oversized black jacket from Target. I like how versatile my bucket leather bag is since I can carry it with so many different styles and colors of outfits.

Seeing Green

Sunday my daughter was trying to make it up for the St. Patrick’s Day, by picking out a green eyelet dress from Talbot for me to wear. I happily obliged and paired it with a forest cardigan and tan trench coat. I carried a green leather cross body purse from Michael Kors. Please no one makes fun of the green dress and spare me the joke that was played on Sarah Huckabee Sanders. 😉

Patchwork Chinese Doll

It’s Saturday and I am so proud that my two eldest daughters are accepted to Ruby Slippers Chinese dance club. Today I am cooking a dish for their annual potluck party and am looking forward to meeting all the awesome dancers and their parents. My third daughter suggested this patchwork dress from Anthropologie, which I think fits the bill very well. This dress does bring back some fond memories when I was pregnant with the fourth baby and was refusing to wear any maternity clothing and instead finding regular clothes to work with pregnant bodies. Now I am glad I made that choice since I can still wear those clothes for years to come… I wore the dress with a pair of black skinny jeans from Banana Republic and a pair of Pom Pom blocked heels from Anthropologie. To keep wind out I wore a navy window panes pattern trench coat from Banana Republic.

Lace Crop Top

Thursday was just another sunny day, I wore a black lace crop top from Target and a knit skirt with houndstooth pattern from Alice and Olivia. I wore a pair of black patent leather heels and a navy blue stadium cloth wool coat from JCrew. Little did I know that I would have a vertigo episode that sent me to ER at noon. Thankfully everyone at the office was super helpful and caring and got the ambulance there in very short time. I am much better now. And the funny thing was in the ambulance the crew asked me:” I have one question for you, how do you manage to walk in these shoes?” It was supposed to be funny but I was in too bad a shape to talk, all I managed to squeez out was “haha”. 😉 Here is to looking back at that ordinary morning:

Bronze Leather Jacket

So, the temperature is going against the direction that it should, so more iterations of winter items. I wore my thick knit cream sweater dress from Gap, paired with a pair of light grey skinny jeans. I wore a pair of black suede boots, on the top I wore a bronze leather cropped jacket from Veda. I felt young with this outfit so I pulled my hair up into a braid.

I put on a black and white wool mini skirt with buckles from Banana Republic with a fine merino wool vneck sweater from BR as well. I paired the skirt with my over the knee black leather boots from Stuart Weitzman. Then I completed the outfit with a mohair wool cream jacket from Isabel Marant, which I purchased this year and love so much for its oversized silhouette. To accessorize I wore a triangle lace scarf that my husband gifted me this past weekend. I carried a black leather purse from Saint Laurent.
